MUNICH CONTEMPO CALL FOR APPLICATIONS - Deadline July 30, 2011
The second edition of Munich Contempo - International Contemporary Art Fair will open its gates on 19.10.2011 ? featuring both an enlarged number of galleries and an expanded exhibition-area (running until 23.10.). This edition's location is the columned hall situated behind the central court yard of the Munich Postareal which is flanking Arnulfstrasse in the city centre of Munich. About 5000 square metres of hall space are being provided for 50 to 70 exhibitors from the field of established and emerging art and their shows.
Parallel to Munich Contempo the 56. Kunst Messe München (Munich Art Fair) will as usual take place in the Rotunda of Postpalast (running until 30.10.). 'Promising Land' as the novel section of Munich Contempo will feature invited young galleries on the columned hall's upper floor. By this the advisory board of Munich Contempo wishes to offer promising galleries an affordable chance to present themselves to an international public. Welcome in this section are especially solo or curated shows subjected to one head motto.
