In 2011 Abandon Normal Devices invites you to explore the outer limits of belief. Join us in a world permeated by myopic mascots and double rainbows as we ask - are you a BELIEVER? Inviting artists to question human systems of belief that span from the artificial to the animalistic we exploit an era where believing nothing is inextricably linked with believing everything! Featuring UK premieres and new commissions, the festival will situate mind altering art alongside shrines for cult and new cinema.
AND activity kicks off in early September taking you a on transmedia tour of the Northwest through fairs, zoos and markets, in Cumbria, Cheshire and Lancashire. Culminating with an almighty celebration in Liverpool, in 29 Sept - 02 Oct, so get the dates in your diary NOW.

AND is currently seeking features, short films and artists moving image. There are no restrictions on budget, genre or style; we welcome narrative, documentary, live action and all shades in between.
