La Città Ideale
Certosa Island
from June 6 to November 22
Venice is a theatre open to the human comedy which has now fulfilled Le Corbusier's concept of “museum of unlimited growth”. This goal was the inspiration for the exhibition which has created its own “new world” on the Certosa Island, where one can admire a glass wall by Shan Shan Sheng reminiscent of the Great Wall of China. Or the minimalist work by Vinicio Momoli, along with a ring 6 meters in diameter made out of resin by Belgian artist Koen Vanmechelen, a reference to the cyclical nature of existence.

The installation of the Korean artist Woojung Chun presents an imagined library with bookshelves, desks and other familiar devices - recognisable as symbols of secured and organised knowledge.
