We would like to announce the opening of Yokohama Triennale 2011 on August 6, 2011.

Since the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, Japan has been making its way for recovery and reconstruction.

Based on the concept, "OUR MAGIC HOURS -How Much of the World Can We Know?-" here will be more than 300 works by 77 artists/ 79 groups from 21 countries presented at two main venues, Yokohama Museum of Art and NYK Waterfront Warehouse (BankART Studio NYK).

Yokohama Triennale 2011 proposes to seek new ways to look at the world and contribute in building a new future. "By learning to accept mysteries and contradictions, by learning to change our perspectives, we might find that suddenly, like magic, the world is open and accessible to us."
